About the author
A New Englander by birth, Joan Ruvinsky moved to Montreal to study physics and, later, linguistics at McGill University. She lives in Quebec but travels far and wide to teach yoga and meditation. Her work has been published in Quarterly, Prism International, The Antigonish Review, Zynergy, Poetry Canada Review, Matrix, and Rubicon.
