2022 CCBC Book Awards Shortlists

The Canadian Children’s Book Centre (CCBC) is excited to announce the finalists for the following eight major awards celebrating Canadian books for young people, including new awards, the Arlene Barlin Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy and the David Booth Children’s and Youth Poetry Award. Missing from our list here are the following titles, which are also nominees: If I Tell You the Truth, Written by Jasmin Kaur; The Project, by Courtney Summers; Thanks a Lot, Universe, by Chad Lucas; Sisters of the Snake, by Sarena Nanua and Sasha Nanua; Spell Sweeper, by Lee Edward Födi;
