Zsuzsi Gartner's Canuckle Books List
"In reaction to this rather disappointing list from the good folks at Kobo (http://news.kobo.com/blog/-best-canadian-books) I've been thinking about some Canadian books that have stuck with me years after reading and that I have reread at least once (in no particular order -- and not privileging the novel like most lists). Caveat: I deliberately left off any books by close friends as that seemed like a conflict of interest. I also didn't include anything less than three years old as I was also thinking about things standing the test of time -- so hence nothing published in 2018 is one year, nor 2017 or 2016 " **Included in the list but not in the 49thShelf database is GLORIA, by Keith Maillard.
