David Souriwne has illustrated several Scholastic covers as well as the Silver Birch nominee The Dragon Prince. He began drawing when he was 7-years-old. Worried that he wouldn't be able to earn a living with his art, he studied Bio-Chemistry at university, but realized his passion was art. He graduated from Sheridan College's animation program in 2001 and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since.
