Peter T. Smith graduated with Honours in English in 1993 and received his BEd in 1995. He is a provincial affairs columnist for the Saint John Telegraph-Journal and vice-principal of Kennebecasis Valley High School, where he also teaches English, psychology, and theatre arts.
