Peter Selby, MBBS, CCFP, is the Clinical Director of Addictions Program and Head of the Nicotine Dependence Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as well as Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Public Health Sciences and Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He practices addiction medicine with a special focus on addiction during pregnancy. Some of his areas of research include smoking cessation in pregnancy: Zyban in the retreatment of relapsed smokers especially the use of pharmacotherapy and the treatment of heroin addiction in pregnancy, and web-based interventions: The Stop Smoking Centre among others.
