For many years, Lisa Rae was an educator in both the English and French schools in Quebec as well as in British Columbia. She summered in Salvage, Bonavista Bay for over three decades before moving permanently in the summer of 2004. Now she spends her time on a variety of creative projects. She is married to Peter Pickersgill who illustrated this book.
