Jeannine Marie Pitas is a poet, teacher, Spanish-English translator, and literary scholar based in Toronto. She is the author of two poetry chapbooks, A Place to Go (2015) and Our Lady of the Snow Angels (2012), both published by Lyricalmyrical Press, and the English-language translator of The History of Violets (2010), published by Ugly Duckling Presse. For six years she was co-facilitator of the Loose Pages writing group at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
