Peter Pickersgill is a writer, painter, cartoonist, and architect. He was born in Ottawa in 1945 and first came to Newfoundland in 1953 where he discovered another universe. His columns have been heard on CBC Radio’s “Fisheries Broadcast” and, along with his cartoons, have appeared in the community newspapers in Newfoundland and Labrador. For over thirty years, Peter and his wife, Lisa, spent their summers in Salvage, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, before moving there permanently in 2004.
