Aside from being a writer, Sunita is also an experienced elementary school teacher in Toronto, Ontario. For almost 2 decades, she has taught from Kindergarten to Grade 2 and has even served as school librarian, so she is well versed in what makes for an enjoyable read for the little ones. She also believes in the importance of educating these same little ones on serious subject matters in a meaningful way that is easy for them to understand.
