Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Ralph Osborne has spent most of his adult life in Regina, Saskatchewan (though he's also lived in Montreal and Vancouver). He's worked as a synchronized swimming instructor, lifeguard, stone-cutter, janitor, executive director of a street-outreach organization, Sino-Canadian business consultant, and as a seller of real estate and cross-country ski machines. Along the way, Osborne also served as the general manager of Rochdale College and owned and operated a 70-seat bistro. Currently, he's living and writing in Toronto. Just for Comfort is his first novel.
