Mòrag Anna NicNèill (Morag Ann MacNeil) is originally from the Isle of Harris, and now lives on the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Mòrag Anna studied English Literature and Celtic Studies at Glasgow University and she was a Gaelic teacher for 26 years. She received a New Writers Award from the Scottish Book Trust and the Gaelic Books Council in 2015 and now writes full-time.
