Raised on an Alberta farm, Eileen Munro learned early to entertain herself and take delight in everyday surroundings. Always a people-watcher, she came from a family of storytellers who told tales that wove a path through her imagination. She was never bored or lonely. Always a dreamer, Eileen fantasized about becoming a writer or an artist, a flight attendant or a rodeo rider, though she instead became a legal secretary. When she married, her husband brought with him the unending stories told by his grandfather, and together they sing and tell stories to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eileen is the author and illustrator of ABCs Down on the Farm (YNWP, 2014) and Raymond Raindrop and Swings & Things.
