Isaac Mabindisa has had a distinguished career as an educator in his native South Africa and in Canada. He holds a PhD from the University of Alberta's Department of Educational Foundations and was a coordinator of Native Studies at Athabasca University before returning to his homeland to continue his teaching activities.
