Ernest Langford

Ernest Langford was born in England. He came to Canada as a young man and lived for a while in Ontario before moving to B.C. to earn his living as a full-time writer. He now lives in Kamloops BC with his wife and keeps in close contact with his children and grandchildren who are scattered around Canada, the United States, and South America.
Langford is both novelist and playwright. He has written numerous scripts for stage, radio and television. His textbook The Explorers: Charting the Canadian Wilderness is used in classrooms across Canada. Five novels, two collections of short stories, and several short dramas have been published on the Internet. The novels include Funlandia, The Kingdom of Chombuk, Innocence, Valley of Shadows, The Ten-Bible Secret, The Wax Key, The Existentialist, Rendezvous at Dieppe (Harbour) and The Apple Eaters.
