Malcolm Kent is a professional applied scientist specializing in gait analysis and strength training for runners. He originally began running competitively as a teenager in the UK in both cross country and orienteering at the National Championship level. During a 14-year period as a competitive climber representing Great Britain (31 world cups and world championships) Malcolm continued to channel his love of running in his free time by coaching runners around the world and investigating running injury prevention and performance methods. Since 2011 Malcolm has worked with leading companies in the world of running technology, including Garmin, Nike, Adidas, Stryd, RunScribe and more. He has also consulted to the world renowned NN Running Team in Kenya and is generally regarded as the leading expert in the world in the area of outdoor and remote gait analysis for running injury prevention. Malcolm lives in Calgary, Alberta.
