Dorothy Inglis has been honoured for her work on several occasions. She was a recipient of the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women’s Robertine Barry Award for her writing on feminist issues and in 1989, she received the Governor General’s Persons Medal for improving the status of women in Canada. She lives in St. John's, Newfoundland.
