Frank Gronich

Frank Gronich was born in 1932 in the Sudetenland area of Czechoslovakia. Following the Second World War the Sudeten Germans were expelled and Frank and his family were deported to West Germany. After much struggle and hardship Frank immigrated to Canada in 1952 and eventually established a successful business in Corner Brook. In his forties, he entered Dalhousie Law School and rose to become Senior Crown Prosecutor in Newfoundland and Labrador. Frank Gronich died in 2015.
