Dorothea Funk is a former CBC Radio reporter and announcer (La Ronge, Saskatoon, Inuvik and Prince George) who moved to Wells in 1993. She is the Director of Administration and Programming at Island Mountain Arts, a non-profit society which runs an annual school of the arts. She is also the Wells Community Librarian. In her spare time she enjoys hiking the trails featured in this guide, as well as attempting to garden at 4000 feet.
