Laurie Alice Eakes doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t have stories in her head. Since she began turning her romantic imaginings into novels, she has sold over two dozen books. Accolades for her books include  winning the National Readers Choice Award and Rita and Carol Award finalist status, among other honors.

She lives in Illinois with her husband, a well-behaved dog, and two spoiled cats.
