About

Allison Douglas-Tourner

Allison Douglas-Tourner finds magic in everyday events. At age three she wrote her first poem, which celebrated the cool ooze of mud between the toes. Allison has lived most of her life in Victoria, BC. Its beaches, woods, and meadows—past and present—have inspired many of the poems in Sticks and Bones. Her haiku have been published in numerous international journals.
