Louise received her law degree in Calgary in 1982. Her practice consists almost entirely of family law and related matters that arise in estates and real property. Her approach is to try to find a resolution which is within the law and also represents the concern of all parties, including economic, cultural, religious and health issues. She has been mediating since 1995 and has been a Collaborative Family Lawyer since 2000. She is presently in the process of obtaining arbitration certification. Louise has been a long term volunteer for legal advice at a women’s shelter, an adult education course teacher for 15 years, and a Dispute Resolution Officer with the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta.
