Sarah Louise Butler has a degree in Physical Geography and volunteer experience in wildlife research. She was named a CBC Writer to Watch in 2020. Her debut novel, The Wild Heavens, is an atmospheric, contemplative journey about a single mother following a mysterious set of tracks through a winter storm in the Canadian wilderness. She lives in Nelson, BC.
