Rachel Bromwich (1915-2010), MA, LITT D, was University Reader in Celtic Languages and Literature at the University of Cambridge and the author of Trioedd Ynys Prydein ('On the Welsh Triads'), acknowledged to be one of the major contributions to Welsh scholarship of the last thirty years at the time of its publication.
