Charles Herbert Best (1899–1978), C.B.F., M.D., D.Sc., LL.D., F.R.S., was Professor and Head of the Banting and Best Department of Medical Research and the Department of Physiology, University of Toronto, and was co-discoverer of insulin with F.G. Banting in 1921.
