Pam Asheton, a former riding instructor with the British Horse Society, lives on a ranch outside Cochrane, Alberta. She is a regular trail rider and a backcountry aficionado. Her writing has appeared in Alberta Country, Canadian Cowboy Country, Western Horseman and the Cochrane Eagle.
