George Grätzer is emeritus professor of mathematics at the University of Manitoba. He specializes in lattice theory and universal algebra and is best known for his books on LaTeX and his proof with E. Tamás Schmidt of the Grätzer-Schmidt theorem. Prof. Gratzer has written about 270 research papers and 33 books. His most recent book publication with Springer is titleThe Little Book of Math into English.
