Tamara Veitch is a writer, mural artist, and mother of three. She grew up in Canada and attended Simon Fraser University, studying English and Psychology. Tamara has had a lifelong interest in spiritual wisdom and has carefully researched ancient teachings from many traditions to ensure historical accuracy throughout the One Great Year book series.

Tamara and Rene are currently working on books II and III in the One Great Year book series. To maintain a dynamic and authentic presentation of the ancient secrets at the core of their writing, they travel to exotic locations in search of esoteric knowledge and cultural insights that will inspire readers everywhere.

Born and raised in the Vancouver area, Rene DeFazio is an actor, screenwriter and producer with numerous film and television roles to his credit, as well as countless commercials and print ads. After spending many years backpacking and filming, Rene drew upon an abundance of unusual and exciting experiences to create?One Great Year. His tireless research and firsthand knowledge of exotic locations, customs, sights and scents helped to bring this epic story to life.  Rene was awarded an “Empowered Writers Award” at the 2014 World International Peace festival in Vancouver.
