Description

Let’s play and sing in Inuktitut! This book features songs from Seasons 1 and 2 of Anaana’s Tent, with downloads of the songs sung in Inuktitut by host Rita Claire. The songbook also includes the lyrics for each song, along with illustrations of your favourite Anaana’s Tent characters. Actions are provided for children to do as they sing along, as well as engaging activities.

Amiel Sandland is an illustrator living in the Toronto area. He studied illustration at Seneca College, eventually specializing in comic arts and character design. He has also dabbled in layout, comics, and props making. Rarely found without a pen in hand, he enjoys drawing animals, monsters, and plants.

Ali Hinch has worked as a full-time illustrator in educational children’s literature since getting her degree in illustration from Sheridan College. She’s had the opportunity to work on a variety of unique projects outside of book illustration ranging from designing puppet concepts and assisting on set building to working with musicians and artists to design CDs and promotions. Currently living in Toronto, she spends a lot of time drinking iced coffee and making new dog friends.

Sigmundur Thorgeirsson is an Icelandic illustrator living in Toronto. He studied drawing at The Reykjavik School of Visual Arts in Iceland and then illustration with an emphasis on entertainment at Laguna College of Art and Design in California, USA. When not Illustrating books he can be found making indie games and picking up his dog's poop.

Emma Pedersen is an illustrator and concept artist with a love for visual storytelling and character design. With BFAs from the Ontario College of Art and Design in drawing and painting, and from Sheridan College in illustration, Emma specializes in children’s illustration. Her first picture book is Queenie Quail Can’t Keep Up (2019). Emma lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her partner and a beloved, and smelly, little dog.
