Editorial Reviews

"Yayo blends attractive visuals, a sense of whimsy, and sound lessons on environmentalism . . . (creating) a fanciful tale with practical guidance for protecting our planet."

Kirkus

“Pairing understated text with satiric line drawings, (SOS Water) highlights the serious ecological and societal harm caused by single-use containers . . . (and) is a crystal-clear clarion call to action.”

Quill & Quire

“SOS Water is an imaginative, inventive and provocative picture book that not only tells an engaging story with simple but thoughtfully poetic text and playfully humorous illustrations, but also addresses the climate crisis in a way that’s accessible to children of all ages.”

The Globe and Mail

“With a light touch in both text and illustrations, Yayo, deals with a most serious subject – the water pollution being caused by discarded single-use plastic water bottles . . . Its environmental message (will) resonate with youngsters. Highly Recommended.”
