Under their leadership, Roots has become one of Canada’s most iconic brands, and is also recognized for its support of the arts, culture, amateur sports, and other community- related initiatives. Established in 1973, with one tiny store in Toronto, Roots now has more than 200 retail locations in Canada, the United States, and Asia. Budman and Green live in Toronto with their families, and maintain cabins in Ontario’s Algonquin Park.
