Description

Rhymes on the Range will take you into the life of genuine no-B.S. cowboys. These poems about actual happenings in the life of Canada's working cowboys. You will smell the stench of burning hair at the branding fire and welcome fragrance of coffee on a campfire during roundup. You'll hear the music of spurs jingling in stirrups, as a cowboy rides by and the call of a cayote as you drift off to sleep in your bedroll.

About the authors

A widely published cowboy poet and western painter, Mike's rhymes touch people where they live. His poems are so genuine because this cowboy has been there and done that. Mike has been a working cowboy, saddlebronc rider, packer, horse trainer and truck driver. Wendy Liddle's cartoons capture the essence of each poem in her award-winning way. She has been drawing professionally for about ten years and this is her fourth book with Mike.
