"Rating: 5...The illustrations created in India ink, watercolor, ink and colored pencils are a total delight."—Katrina Yurenka, Youth Services Book Review
"Rating: 5...If you are a fan of the whimsical 'Stella' picture books, you will also love these beginner chapter books by Marie-Louise Gay....This would be a great book for early readers because the text is simple and the chapters are short — providing good stopping points throughout different parts of the book. This would also be a great chapter book to read aloud to a beginner reader that may have outgrown picture books but is not quite ready to read chapter books."—Kristin Guay, Youth Services Book Review
