Contributor Notes
Ian Campeau is a Nbiising Anishinaabe speaker, artist, writer, father and activist from Nipissing First Nation.  Also known as DJ NDN, Campeau is the co-founder & former member of award winning musical group A Tribe Called Red. Through a powerful combination of art and activism, Campeau uses his notoriety to draw attention to issues of racism, gender-based violence, stigmas of mental health, and other forms of oppression. Campeau lives on a farm with his family in rural Ontario, where he works to reclaim his culture through media, studying language and embracing traditional ways of living.
