Description
Catalogue of the exhibitions: Thin Air held at the Koffler Gallery and Relay held at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery. What Levitt is doing in these exhibitions is to revise the historical thinking of women's contributions, through communications and spy networks, to mid 20th century war efforts. Through historical characters, Levitt creates a narrative that poignantly reconstructs voices often suppressed or simply ignored within history's annals. Originated by Carolyn Bell Farrell and organized by Mona Filip, Koffler Gallery. An introduction by David Aurandt. Artist acknowledgement.
