It is the subjective, rather than the objective nature of science that Nell Tenhaff has explored in her work over the course of the last fifteen years. This survey exhibition examines a shift in Tenhaaf's practice, yet the thread that weaves its way through the work continues to be the exploration of the individual's responsibility of coping with forces that shape us and the world. Within her multi-media production that includes interactive video, light boxes and photography, Tenhaaf engages the viewer with her cross-disciplinary blending of art, science, psychology, history and myth to reveal the hidden scientific model.
