About the authors

Caroline Stutson was a children’s book author of ten published books, including Pirate Pup, illustrated by Robert Rayevsky; Night Train illustrated by Katherine Tillotson; and By the Light of the Halloween Moon, illustrated by Kevin Hawkes. She enjoyed giving puppet shows, reading, walking on the Highline Canal with her dog, and attending live theater. Learn more about her at

Celia Krampien has created illustrations for newspapers and magazines including The Los Angeles Times, Scientific American, Variety, and The Globe and Mail, where she is a regular contributing artist.
