About the author
Britta Teckentrup is an award-winning illustrator, author and fine artist. She was born in Hamburg and moved to London in 1988 to study illustration and fine art at St Martin's College and the Royal College of Art. Britta has written and illustrated over 100 children's picture books, which have been translated into 25 different languages. Some of her accolades include two Special Mentions at the Bologna Ragazzi Awards, being awarded the 2018 Dutch Picture Book of the Year for Don’t Wake Up Tiger and being shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award with her book Under the Same Sky. Britta now lives and works in Berlin.
