Description

Elizabeth was born with a trumpet in her hands. As she grows, more instruments appear, but they seem to have a mind of their own, often playing at the most inconvenient moments. Her classmates grow frustrated when their dictation is interrupted, and the instruments Elizabeth once cherished begin to feel like an unwelcome burden. Until a maestro helps her see that what makes her different is actually a remarkable gift.

This heartwarming story gently explores Tourette syndrome without naming it, offering a versatile lens to discuss hyperactivity, self-expression, or the feeling of taking up too much space.

About the authors
