Jessie and her sister Jo-Jo (and their bigger cousins, Katcha and Krissy!) get up to all sorts of neighbourhood highjinks. But when Jessie overhears Mom say that it’s time to go to the vet for her booster shots, she’s very worried—especially when Krissy tells her that the vet might even turn her into a sausage! That can’t pawsibly be true—can it?!

About the authors

Bill Hutchinson grew up in a military family on Canada’s East Coast and is a retired architect and politician. According to him, this is the kind of background that makes a person uniquely unqualified to write children’s books. Jocelyn Hutchinson was born and raised on Canada’s Prairies. She enjoyed a career in marketing, has served her community as a Kinette and city councillor, and is currently an Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Canadian Army. She is the proud mother of two terrific adult children, one of whom has delighted both Bill and Jocelyn by producing an irresistibly cute grandson.
