"This sweet board book celebrates the love between a mother and her child using the five senses. From playing peek-a-boo to snuggles and kisses, the mothers and babies in this board book relish in the love they have for one another. The adorable illustrations contain aspects of Inuit culture. This would make a perfect gift for new mothers."—Book Riot
"This simple, friendly board book features mothers or caregivers and children exploring their love in a repeated pattern through the five senses. Details such as a "kunik" (Inuit nose kiss) between adult and child, plush animals (snowy owl, narwhal, walrus) and views of tundra and icebergs give clues to the far northern Canadian setting."—Shelf Awareness
"[T]his story is as loving and as cozy as the knitted quilt that the mother and child lay under. Highly recommended for home and public libraries"—Canadian Children's Booknews
