JOEL A. SUTHERLAND is the Silver Birch and Hackmatack Award-winning author of numerous Haunted Canada books and the Red Maple Award Honour Book Summer’s End. His middle-grade fiction series, Haunted, has been praised by Goosebumps author R.L. Stine. Hannah Barrett was born and raised in Canada with a deep Irish heritage. Hannah has always had a love for telling stories through illustration. With a Degree in Illustration from Sheridan College and a strong passion for creating works of nature, folklore and the macabre, Hannah’s work helps give the story an even stronger voice with her detailed and dynamic imagery. Her research is a passion that assists in creating emotional, thought-provoking narrative work that instils many different types of emotions from readers and viewers.
MIKE FEEHAN (The Etobicoke Poltergeist) is an illustrator from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, whose credits include Star Trek and Star Trek: Defiant from IDW, as well as the award-winning miniseries Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles from DC Comics. In addition to his work in comics, he also works as a storyboard artist for TV, music videos and commercials. He resides in St. John's with his fiancée, cat and two dogs.
MAYA McKIBBIN is a Two-Spirited Ojibwe, Yoeme, and Irish filmmaker, illustrator, and storyteller. Using their education in computer graphics and interactive media, Maya's work is rooted in the natural world and our relations to it. Maya's previous picture book, Swift Fox All Along written by Rebecca Thomas, was nominated for numerous awards including a Governor General's Literary Award.
MATT SALISBURY is an illustrator from Mississauga who now lives in Toronto with his amazing partner and their two chaotic but lovable cats. An enthusiast of comics and history, Matt is never without a sketchbook in one hand and a coffee in the other.
