This boxset includes:
A SEASON WITH HER FORBIDDEN EARL
Least Likely to Wed
by Julia Justiss
(1830s)
When an unexpected windfall gives Lady Margaret the chance for another Season, she relishes the opportunity to see her friends again, including Julian Randall, Earl of Atherton. She has no need to find a husband, and widower Julian has sworn off the marriage mart, so escorting each other is the perfect platonic arrangement. Until a new, exhilarating attraction simmers between them—one this respectable spinster is forbidden from indulging in…isn’t she?
A VISCOUNT FOR THE EGYPTIAN PRINCESS
by Heba Helmy
(1870s)
Viscount Louis Wesley is captivated by the beautiful woman he meets at the Louvre. He never expects to see her again, but then he arrives in Egypt for his royal best friend’s wedding and discovers she’s the bride, Princess Mervat! Learning it’s a convenient match that both intend to avoid, Louis vows to help. The stakes may be high, but Louis’s biggest challenge will be resisting falling for the princess himself!
A WEDDING TO PROTECT HER FORTUNE
by Jenni Fletcher
(Tudor)
When a braying mob attacks her home in the night, heiress Annis Flemming seeks shelter with her enigmatic neighbor Sir Bennet Thorne. With her life at risk, Ben escorts her to safety at Henry VIII’s Hatfield House. Though they grow closer on the journey, Annis’s distrust of men makes her wary, and Ben still grieves for his late wife. But when they realize the threat has followed them, there’s only one means of true protection—marriage!
About the authors
Long before embarking on romantic adventures of her own, Julia Justiss read about them, transporting herself to such favourite venues as ancient Egypt, World War II submarine patrols, the Old South and, of course, Regency England. Soon she was keeping notebooks for jotting down story ideas. When not writing or traveling, she enjoys watching movies, reading and puttering about in the garden trying to kill off more weeds than flowers.
Egyptian-born and Canadian raised, Heba Helmy holds an MA in English Literature and a Ph.D. in Language and Literacies (both from the University of Toronto). A former high school teacher and current university professor, her academic practice focuses on culturally sustaining narratives –and her creative one is all about storytelling that centres love.
I've wanted to write stories ever since I learned to read! Now I've written more than 20 books in a range of historical periods and I'm still addicted to the warm fuzzy glow of romance. I live in Yorkshire with my family and one extremely hairy dog, and I've been nominated for 5 Romantic Novel Awards (I won the Libertà Books Shorter Romantic Novel Award in 2020). I also write Regency romances for Penguin YA.Twitter @JenniAuthor Insta @jennifletcherauthor
