Description

Hands-On Social Studies Saskatchewan is filled with a year’s worth of classroom tested activities conveniently bound in one book. It is divided into four units:

  • Interactions and Interdependence,
  • Dynamic Relationships,
  • Power and Authority, and
  • Wealth and Resources.

With materials for both teachers and students, it includes the same great features found in all of our Hands-On resources:

  • complete, easy-to-follow lessons;
  • visuals and blackline masters;
  • literacy connections;
  • and assessment tools.

Exciting, new features are inquiry questions, cross-curriculum connections, and a guide to developing social studies skills. This resource, developed by experienced educators, matches the Saskatchewan social studies curriculum, which focuses on the province of Saskatchewan.
