Stéphanie G. Vachon holds a bachelor's and a professional master's degree in speech-language pathology from the Université de Montréal. She began her career working with preschool and school-aged children experiencing various speech, language, and communication challenges at the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with CHU Sainte-Justine. Currently, she works with children aged 0 to 5 and their families through the Agir Tôt program in a CLSC setting. Alongside her dedication to speech-language pathology, Stéphanie has a profound passion for children’s literature. After completing a short program in children’s literature, she is now finishing a graduate diploma in the field at UQTR. In addition to her professional work, Stéphanie is a literary contributor to Lurelu, the only Quebec-based magazine exclusively focused on children’s literature. She has also written for Le Berlingot, a directory of children’s books created by speech-language pathologists to promote quality interactive reading for preschoolers. Stéphanie is the author of five picture books for toddlers, published by Shoebox media.
