About the authors
Biography AJ Skelly is an author, blogger, and lover of all things fantasy, medieval, and fairy-tale-romance. As a former high school English teacher with a master’s in Creative Writing, she’s always been fascinated with the written word and has spent many years working with teenagers. She lives with her husband, children, and many imaginary friends who often find their way into her stories.
Alyssa Roat is a multi-published author with titles in both the YA speculative and adult contemporary spheres and hundreds of bylines in local, national, and international publications. She has worked in a wide variety of roles within the publishing industry, as a literary agent, editor, writer, publicist, and marketer. Alyssa holds a degree in Professional Writing from Taylor University. You can learn more at alyssawrote.com.
Beka Gremikova writes folkloric fantasy from her little nook in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario, Canada. Her flash fiction can be found on Havok Publishing’s website and in several of their anthologies (Bingeworthy, Sensational, and Prismatic). She has also been featured in the collections Aphotic Love, Whitstead Harvestide, What Darkness Fears, Moonlight & Claws, A Kind of Death, and Faces to the Sun. When she’s not traveling, playing video games, or sketching, she’s often curled up in a corner with a mystery novel. Currently, she’s plotting a plethora of fairy tale retellings.
Hope Bolinger is an Acquisitions Editor at End Game Press and author of 18 traditionally published books. More than 1200 of her works have been spotted in various locations. When she isn't writing or going crazy, she loves to do local runway modeling gigs, perform on stage in theater, and get lost on hiking trails, pretending she's some fae-like creature.
Lacey R Scott is an artist and writer with an affinity for dragons. When not writing or sculpting, she spends her days taking care of her family as a full-time home maker and wrangling her menagerie of rescue pets--including the viral sensation, Monstro the goldfish. An introvert at heart, she loves reading, gaming, anime, and falling down true crime rabbit holes. She also has a webcomic about Ignus, the tiny sassy, cookie-loving dragon, who roams her house creating chaos as he goes.
L.G. McCary has a bachelor’s in psychology which means she knows enough to mess with readers’ heads but not enough to diagnose their problems. She globe-trots as the wife of an Army chaplain, homeschooling four rambunctious kids along the way. She writes supernatural and science fiction with intense emotional cores, complex characters, and intricate theological themes. Her Christian faith fuels every creative endeavor, from short fiction and novels to art and music. Her first novel, That Pale Host, debuted in October 2021.
Cassandra Hamm is a psychology nerd, art collector, jigsaw puzzler, and hopeless romantic who spends most of her time lost in another realm. She is a mental health advocate with a passion for social justice, and many of her stories focus on shattered girls finding their way in the world. Her work appears in various anthologies, including several of Havok Publishing’s collections, Warriors Against the Storm, When Your Beauty is the Beast, The Depths We’ll Go To, Aphotic Love, and Exquisite Poison.
Brittany's fascination with Wonderland may have given her the courage to exclusively use a sparkly Cinderella book bag while completing her First Class Honours degree in Greek & Roman Civilization and Political Science at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. She's travelled to over twenty-five countries and has walked the Great Wall of China in Beijing, the Acropolis in Athens, Table Mountain in Cape Town, and Ipanema in Rio. She also once lived in a Circus. You can find Brittany drinking tea, reading, and chasing her three kids, usually at the same time. If that fails, you'll find her writing starcrossed romance with timeless endings or on Instagram oversharing pictures of the scenery around her and her husband’s home in Vancouver, Canada, and commenting passionately about C.S. Lewis, K-Dramas, Wonder Woman, Bournville chocolate, and Irish tea.
Kaitlyn Carter Brown began writing at age 11 and never stopped. An avid hiker and National Park lover, she crafts stories of adventure, loyalty, found family, and a dose of the fantastic. She lives in Arizona with her husband and cannot pass up an open campsite.
