When 150 school children, ages six through twelve, sit down to write letters to the President, the resulting correspondence is a candid mix of sage advice, serious concern, and hilariously funny observations about the office of the President and the goings-on at Capitol Hill. From sea to shining sea, and collected by Chris Roberts over the past three years, these letters are filled to brimming with pointed questions, thoughtful musings, and personal reflections about the role of the President, and the place of America in the mind of its most quizzical young citizens.

Chris Roberts has been collecting children's letters to leading world figures for over seven years. His first collection, Dear Primer Minister, was met with rave reviews, including applause from the Prime Minister of Canada himself. For this collection, the author has compiled letters from the archives of such Presidents as John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, and George Bush.

CHRIS ROBERTS has written for a variety of international publications and websites, including Classic Rock, The Guardian, Melody Maker, NME, Sounds, Elle, Ikon, The Daily Telegraph, Empire and Emusic.
