It's Christmas Eve and Marie was gifted a beautiful nutcracker doll. Her brother Fritz, who received toy soliders instead, takes Marie's gift and throws it to the ground out of jealousy. Luckily, the nutcracker is unharmed. Later that night, Marie falls asleep with the doll in her arms and goes on to experience wonderful adventures with her nutcracker-turned-prince. But was it all a dream?
