Description

It’s hockey with heart, all wrapped up in an action-packed Christmas story!

The tree is tinseled, the cookies are baked and the Zamboni machine is decorated. Brady loves Christmas almost as much as he loves hockey! But this year, between the holiday rush and the rink, he forgets to send Santa a letter.

At the Christmas Eve game, Brady blows his signature move because a flash of red distracts him. It’s Santa! Right? The hunt is on, as Brady and his teammates from the Icehogs search the arena from rink to rafters so that Brady can give Santa his letter in person. But Santa’s not in the bleachers. Or the snack bar. Or the parking lot . . . or anywhere.

Brady’s holiday is looking like it’s going to be ho-ho-hum. But his mood brightens when he gets home. Maybe it’s not too late for his Christmas wish after all!

Editorial Reviews

Praise for Brady Brady:

Praise for Brady Brady:

“Brady Brady knows everyone on a team is important.” — Steve Yzerman, Hockey Hall of Famer / GM, Detroit Red Wings

Praise for Brady Brady: Teammate Turnaround:

Teammate Turnaround covers a variety of topics, including friendship, hobbies and stepping outside of your comfort zone. It highlights that change isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Its contents are relatable to children who play sports of any kind or who engage in any sort of team activity. The dialogue in the book is very natural and well-written.

The illustrations are colourful and very representative of a sports arena and team colours. The kids’ hockey jerseys indicate which children are on the same team helps readers follow the storyline. Recommended. " — Canadian Review of Materials
