Description
As usual, Albert makes finding the answers to the previous book's Dino Trivia fun! We learn a little about the arrival of the railroad, and in our short story, we discover how it impacted in a positive manner, the way of life of our new friends, Hailey and Emma, and their family. On our road trip, we hitch a ride with Albert on the Canadian Pacific Railway, and visit some really cool places that can be found in Saskatchewan!

Editorial Reviews
"Along the Way - Welcome to Saskatchewan is the fifth book in the Along the Way series by Teresa Schapansky. This is by far the strongest of the series. It, too, follows the formula of the others in that it begins with answers to dinosaur trivia, includes real information about the Canadian Pacific Railway, has a fictional story, and ends with more information and new trivia questions. Albert is still the reader's tour guide through the story, and Canadian history is still the theme.
What makes this book so strong is that the fictional story directly correlates to the non-fiction theme of the book. Albert is sharing information about the real Canadian Pacific Railway, and his story is about a fictional family that was directly affected by the construction of the railway. This tie-in makes the book more rich to the reader and incorporates a human element to the facts that Albert presents.
This, like the others in the series, is a book that is best suited to confident readers who are not afraid of new words or lengthy text. Additionally, it serves the purpose of educating readers about the landscape of Canada in a fun and unique way." Mary, Goodreads
